Guam Statue of Liberty

You can file this one under: Who knew?

There’s a miniature Statue of Liberty on Guam.

Apparently it was part of a program put together by the Boy Scouts of America back in the 1950s. They raised funds and had them sent to every state and territory.

The original replica here on Guam apparently was vandalized and then replaced by the one we see today.

It’s located in Paseo Park in Agaña.

It’s very near several other statues in the area and close to Chamorro Village if you’re there for the night market.
